This title is a reference to the numerous impromptu artworks that popped up on the plywood panels that business owners in cities across the country had to put up in order to protect their storefronts during the pandemic’s extended lockdowns, which artists created in an effort to beautify and brighten up otherwise deserted, depressing street blocks.
