The title, a quote from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, is used with the number in the subtitle as if to say, “Eat me, 2020”, or, alternatively stated, “Bite me, 2020” — an idiomatic expression of annoyance that appropriately encapsulates the disgust so many often felt for a year that provided too many reasons to live on in infamy.
