Let my building burn! (Fillmore Street #<3)

This title is a quote from Minneapolis restaurateur Ruhel Islam, whose establishment was damaged when protesters set fire to a police headquarters a few doors away from his restaurant three days into the daily Black Lives Matter protests that began in the city due to the murder of George Floyd at the hands of police — and who, rather than condemning protesters and their actions, remained focused on the bigger picture, selflessly stating, “Let my building burn! Justice needs to be served. Put those officers in jail!” and later adding, “We can rebuild a building, but we cannot rebuild a human.” The figure in the subtitle is a sideways heart emoticon, celebrating this man’s big, kind heart and its unequivocal, unwavering stand with the Black community against police brutality.
